Cant past excel to outlook mail body

A common issue!

There are a few reasons why you might not be able to paste an Excel table into the body of an Outlook email. Here are some possible solutions:

  1. Check the formatting: Make sure the Excel table is formatted correctly before trying to paste it into Outlook. Try selecting the entire table, going to the "Home" tab, and clicking on "Format as Table" to ensure it's properly formatted.
  2. Use the "Paste Special" option: Instead of using the regular "Paste" option, try using "Paste Special" (Ctrl+Alt+V or right-click > Paste Special). In the "Paste Special" dialog box, select "Unformatted Text" or "HTML" to paste the table into Outlook.
  3. Use the "Insert Table" option: Instead of pasting the table, try inserting a new table in Outlook. To do this, go to the "Insert" tab, click on "Table", and then select the number of rows and columns you want. You can then copy and paste the Excel data into the new table.
  4. Check the Outlook settings: Ensure that Outlook is set to allow HTML content in the email body. To do this, go to "File" > "Options" > "Mail", and make sure the "Compose messages in this format" dropdown menu is set to "HTML".
  5. Use a third-party add-in: There are several third-party add-ins available that can help you paste Excel tables into Outlook, such as Excel-to-Outlook or Table Paste.
  6. Try a different method: If none of the above solutions work, try copying the Excel table and then creating a new email in Outlook. In the email body, go to the "Insert" tab and click on "Table" to insert a new table. Then, paste the Excel data into the new table.

I hope one of these solutions helps you successfully paste your Excel table into the body of an Outlook email!
