Cant see share via mail option in android

Frustrating!

Don't worry, I'm here to help you troubleshoot the issue. Here are some possible reasons why you can't see the "Share via mail" option on your Android device:

  1. App-specific issue: Check if the app you're trying to share from has a built-in email sharing option. Some apps might not have this feature or might have it hidden.
  2. Android version: If you're using an older Android version (e.g., Android 4.x or 5.x), the "Share via mail" option might not be available. This feature was introduced in Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
  3. Default email app: Ensure that you have a default email app set on your device. Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Email app and select a default email app (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, or Samsung Email).
  4. App permissions: Check if the app you're trying to share from has the necessary permissions to access your email app. Go to Settings > Apps > [App name] > Permissions and ensure that the "Send email" permission is enabled.
5. Third-party launcher: If you're using a third-party launcher (e.g., Nova Launcher, Apex Launcher), it might be interfering with the default sharing options. Try switching to the default Android launcher (Google Now Launcher) to see if the issue persists.
  6. Device settings: Go to Settings > Advanced > Default apps > Share and ensure that the "Share via mail" option is enabled.

To resolve the issue, try the following:

  1. Restart your device.
  2. Clear the app's cache and data (Settings > Apps > [App name] > Storage > Clear cache and Clear data).
  3. Update the app to the latest version.
  4. Try sharing the content using a different method, such as copying the content and pasting it into an email app.

If none of these solutions work, please provide more details about your device, Android version, and the app you're trying to share from, and I'll do my best to help you troubleshoot the issue.
