Change gmail name

To change your Gmail name, you'll need to update your profile information. Here's how:

Method 1: Update your profile information

1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the profile picture or icon in the top right corner of the page.
3. Click on "My account" from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Basic info" section.
5. Click on the "Edit" button next to your name.
6. Enter your new name in the "First name" and "Last name" fields.
7. Click "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.

Method 2: Update your name through Google Account settings

1. Sign in to your Google Account settings page.
2. Click on the "Personal info" tab.
3. Scroll down to the "Name" section.
4. Click on the "Edit" button next to your name.
5. Enter your new name in the "First name" and "Last name" fields.
6. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.

Note: Changing your Gmail name will also update your name on other Google services, such as Google Drive, Google Photos, and Google Calendar.

Important: If you're changing your name due to a legal name change, you may need to provide additional documentation to verify the change.
