Change swipe options on iphone mail
To change the swipe options on your iPhone's Mail app, follow these steps:
Swipe Left
- Open the Mail app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the "Settings" icon (looks like a gear) in the top right corner of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap on "Swipe Options".
- Under "Swipe Left", you can choose from the following options:
- "Mark as Read" (default)
- "Mark as Unread"
- "Flag"
- "Move to Junk"
- "Move to Trash"
- "Custom" (allows you to set a custom action using the "Edit" button)
- Tap on the option you want to use for swiping left.
Swipe Right
- Follow the same steps as above, but this time tap on "Swipe Right".
- You can choose from the following options:
- "Mark as Flagged" (default)
- "Unflag"
- "Move to Inbox"
- "Move to Drafts"
- "Move to Sent"
- "Custom" (allows you to set a custom action using the "Edit" button)
- Tap on the option you want to use for swiping right.
Custom Swipe Actions
If you want to set a custom swipe action, follow these steps:
- Go to the "Swipe Options" screen (as described above).
- Tap on "Custom" under "Swipe Left" or "Swipe Right".
- Tap on the "Edit" button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Tap on the "Add Action" button.
- Choose the action you want to perform (e.g., "Move to Trash", "Mark as Read", etc.).
- Tap "Done" to save your changes.
Note: You can also customize swipe actions for specific folders or labels by going to the folder/label settings and tapping on "Swipe Options".
