Here are some examples of how to configure your email client with these settings:

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and go to File > Account Settings > Account.
  2. Click New and select Manual setup or additional server types.
  3. Choose POP3 or IMAP as the account type.
  4. Enter the incoming mail server settings: mail.charter.net (Server), 110 (Port), and your Charter email address and password.
  5. Enter the outgoing mail server settings: smtp.charter.net (Server), 587 (Port), and your Charter email address and password.
  6. Click Next and then Finish to complete the setup.

Apple Mail

  1. Open Apple Mail and go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts.
  2. Click the + button to add a new account.
  3. Select Other Mail Account and click Continue.
  4. Enter your Charter email address and password.
  5. Enter the incoming mail server settings: mail.charter.net (Server), 110 (Port).
  6. Enter the outgoing mail server settings: smtp.charter.net (Server), 587 (Port).
  7. Click Create to complete the setup.

Mozilla Thunderbird

  1. Open Thunderbird and go to Tools > Account Settings.
  2. Click Account Actions > Add Mail Account.
  3. Enter your Charter email address and password.
  4. Enter the incoming mail server settings: mail.charter.net (Server), 110 (Port).
  5. Enter the outgoing mail server settings: smtp.charter.net (Server), 587 (Port).
  6. Click Create to complete the setup.
