If you're a subscriber to the Chicago Tribune and going on vacation, you can request a mail hold to ensure that your newspaper delivery is paused while you're away. Here's how to do it:

Online:

  1. Go to the Chicago Tribune's website (www.chicagotribune.com).
  2. Click on the "Account" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Log in to your account using your email address and password.
  4. Click on "Manage My Subscription" and then "Vacation Hold" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Enter your vacation dates and confirm your request.

Phone:

  1. Call the Chicago Tribune's customer service number at (800) 445-8751.
  2. Let them know that you'd like to place a vacation hold on your subscription.
  3. Provide your name, address, and the dates you'll be away.
