Method 1: Using the Outlook.com website

1. Go to the Outlook.com website (www.outlook.com) and sign in with your Hotmail account credentials.
2. Click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner, then select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
3. Scroll down to the "Account" section and click on "Close account".
4. Enter your password to confirm you want to close the account.
5. Click "Close account" to confirm.

Method 2: Using the Outlook app

1. Open the Outlook app on your device (if you have it installed).
2. Sign in with your Hotmail account credentials.
