Compose email on ipad

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to compose an email on an iPad:

Step 1: Open the Mail App

  1. Locate the Mail app on your iPad's home screen. It's usually found in the dock or on one of the home screens.
  2. Tap the Mail app icon to open it.

Step 2: Tap the "Compose" Button

  1. In the Mail app, you'll see a list of your email accounts and messages. Tap the "Compose" button in the top right corner of the screen. It looks like a pencil and paper icon.
  2. Alternatively, you can also swipe left from the right edge of the screen to open the compose window.

Step 3: Enter the Recipient's Email Address

  1. In the "To" field, type the email address of the person you want to send the email to.
  2. You can also select a contact from your iPad's contacts list by tapping the "Contacts" button next to the "To" field.

Step 4: Enter the Subject

  1. In the "Subject" field, type a brief summary of the email's content.

Step 5: Write the Email Body

  1. In the main email body field, type your message. You can use the on-screen keyboard to type your message.
  2. You can also use the formatting options (e.g., bold, italic, underline) by tapping the "Aa" icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 6: Add Attachments (Optional)

  1. If you want to attach a file to your email, tap the "Attach" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  2. Select the file you want to attach from your iPad's file system or take a photo/video directly from the Mail app.

Step 7: Review and Send the Email

  1. Review your email to make sure everything is correct, including the recipient's email address, subject, and body.
  2. Tap the "Send" button in the top right corner of the screen to send the email.

That's it! Your email should now be sent to the recipient's email address.
