Compose email on ipad
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to compose an email on an iPad:
Step 1: Open the Mail App
- Locate the Mail app on your iPad's home screen. It's usually found in the dock or on one of the home screens.
- Tap the Mail app icon to open it.
Step 2: Tap the "Compose" Button
- In the Mail app, you'll see a list of your email accounts and messages. Tap the "Compose" button in the top right corner of the screen. It looks like a pencil and paper icon.
- Alternatively, you can also swipe left from the right edge of the screen to open the compose window.
Step 3: Enter the Recipient's Email Address
- In the "To" field, type the email address of the person you want to send the email to.
- You can also select a contact from your iPad's contacts list by tapping the "Contacts" button next to the "To" field.
Step 4: Enter the Subject
- In the "Subject" field, type a brief summary of the email's content.
Step 5: Write the Email Body
- In the main email body field, type your message. You can use the on-screen keyboard to type your message.
- You can also use the formatting options (e.g., bold, italic, underline) by tapping the "Aa" icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 6: Add Attachments (Optional)
- If you want to attach a file to your email, tap the "Attach" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Select the file you want to attach from your iPad's file system or take a photo/video directly from the Mail app.
Step 7: Review and Send the Email
- Review your email to make sure everything is correct, including the recipient's email address, subject, and body.
- Tap the "Send" button in the top right corner of the screen to send the email.
That's it! Your email should now be sent to the recipient's email address.
