Cox email settings imap settings
Here are the IMAP settings for Cox email:
Incoming (IMAP) Settings:
- Server: imap.cox.net
- Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Username: Your Cox email address (e.g. [yourname]@cox.net)
- Password: Your Cox email password
Outgoing (SMTP) Settings:
- Server: smtp.cox.net
- Port: 587
- Encryption: STARTTLS
- Username: Your Cox email address (e.g. [yourname]@cox.net)
- Password: Your Cox email password
Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Use the same username and password as your Cox email account.
- Connection Security: SSL/TLS
- Authentication Method: Normal Password
IMAP Client Settings:
- If you're using an IMAP client like Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or Apple Mail, you'll need to configure the client to use the above settings. Here are some general guidelines:
- In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Account > More Settings > Advanced > Incoming server (IMAP) and enter the IMAP server and port.
