Cox email setup

Here's a step-by-step guide to setting up your Cox email account:

Method 1: Setting up Cox Email on a Computer

  1. Open a web browser and go to www.cox.net.
  2. Click on the "Email" tab at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your Cox email address and password in the required fields.
  4. Click on the "Sign In" button.
  5. Once you're signed in, you'll be taken to your Cox email inbox.
  6. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the page.
  7. Click on "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  8. Scroll down to the "Account" section and click on "Edit" next to "Account Name".
  9. Enter your name and click "Save".
  10. Scroll down to the "Password" section and click on "Edit" next to "Password".
  11. Enter your new password and confirm it by re-entering it in the "Confirm Password" field.
  12. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Method 2: Setting up Cox Email on a Mobile Device (Android or iOS)

  1. Open the email app on your mobile device (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
  2. Tap on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Add Account" or "Set up email" and select "Other" or "Custom".
  4. Enter your Cox email address and password in the required fields.
  5. Tap on "Next" or "Continue".
  6. Enter the following settings:
    • Server: imap.cox.net
    • Port: 993
    • Security: SSL/TLS
    • Username: Your Cox email address
    • Password: Your Cox email password
  7. Tap on "Next" or "Continue" to save your changes.
