Create folders in gmail

To create folders in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Using the Gmail Web Interface

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
  6. Enter a name for your folder in the "To label" field.
  7. Click on the "Create" button.
  8. Your new folder will be created and you can start moving emails into it by checking the box next to the email and selecting "Move to" > "Label" > [Your Folder Name].

Method 2: Using the Gmail Mobile App

  1. Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the three horizontal lines () in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Labels" section.
  5. Tap on "Create a new label".
  6. Enter a name for your folder and tap on "Save".
  7. You can then move emails into your new folder by long-pressing on an email and selecting "Move to" > [Your Folder Name].

Method 3: Using Keyboard Shortcuts (Desktop Only)

  1. Log in to your Gmail account on your desktop.
  2. Press the "c" key on your keyboard to create a new label.
  3. Enter a name for your folder and press Enter.
  4. Your new folder will be created and you can start moving emails into it by checking the box next to the email and selecting "Move to" > "Label" > [Your Folder Name].

Note: You can also use the "Move to" feature to move emails into your new folder by selecting multiple emails and then clicking on the "Move to" button and selecting your new folder from the dropdown menu.
