Create gmail group
Here's a step-by-step guide to create a Gmail group:
Method 1: Create a Gmail group using the Gmail web interface
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "General" tab.
- Click on the "Create group" button.
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group in the "Add members" field. You can add multiple email addresses separated by commas.
- Click on the "Create" button.
Method 2: Create a Gmail group using the Gmail mobile app
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines () in the top left corner of the screen.
- Tap on "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Groups" section.
- Tap on "Create group".
- Enter a name for your group in the "Group name" field.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you want to add to the group in the "Add members" field. You can add multiple email addresses separated by commas.
- Tap on the "Create" button.
How to send an email to a Gmail group
- Compose a new email in your Gmail account.
- In the "To" field, enter the name of the group you created (e.g. "My Group").
- Gmail will automatically suggest the email address of the group.
- Enter a subject and message as usual.
- Click on the "Send" button to send the email to the group.
Note: When you send an email to a Gmail group, the email will be sent to all members of the group, including the email address you used to create the group.
