Create group in apple mail
To create a group in Apple Mail, follow these steps:
Method 1: Create a group from the Mail app
- Open the Mail app on your Mac or iOS device.
- Click on the "Compose" button in the top left corner of the screen.
- In the "To" field, start typing the names of the people you want to add to the group. As you type, Mail will suggest names from your contacts.
- Select the names of the people you want to add to the group by clicking on them.
- Click on the "Create Group" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter a name for the group in the "Group Name" field.
- Click "Create" to create the group.
Method 2: Create a group from the Contacts app
- Open the Contacts app on your Mac or iOS device.
- Click on the "Groups" tab at the top of the screen.
- Click on the "New Group" button.
- Enter a name for the group in the "Group Name" field.
- Add the people you want to add to the group by clicking on the "Add" button and selecting their names from your contacts.
- Click "Done" to create the group.
- Go back to the Mail app and create a new message. You can now select the group you just created from the "To" field.
Tips:
- You can add or remove people from a group at any time by editing the group in the Contacts app.
- You can also add a group to your contacts by clicking on the "Add to Contacts" button in the Mail app.
- If you have a large number of contacts, you can use the "Search" field in the Contacts app to quickly find the people you want to add to a group.
