Create new icloud email alias
To create a new iCloud email alias, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the iCloud website
- Go to the iCloud website (www.icloud.com) and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- Click on the "Mail" icon.
- Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear icon) in the top right corner of the screen.
- Scroll down to the "Accounts" section and click on "Add Account".
- Select "Other" as the account type.
- Enter the name and email address of the alias you want to create. For example, if you want to create an alias called "[email protected]", enter "work" as the name and "[email protected]" as the email address.
- Click "Create" to create the alias.
Method 2: Using the Mail app on your iOS device
- Open the Mail app on your iOS device.
- Tap on the "Mailboxes" tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the "Add Mailbox" button.
- Enter the name and email address of the alias you want to create. For example, if you want to create an alias called "[email protected]", enter "work" as the name and "[email protected]" as the email address.
- Tap "Save" to create the alias.
Method 3: Using the Mail app on your Mac
- Open the Mail app on your Mac.
- Click on the "Mail" menu and select "Preferences".
- Click on the "Accounts" tab.
- Click on the "+" button at the bottom left corner of the window.
- Select "Other Mail Account" as the account type.
- Enter the name and email address of the alias you want to create. For example, if you want to create an alias called "[email protected]", enter "work" as the name and "[email protected]" as the email address.
- Click "Create" to create the alias.
Once you've created the alias, you can use it to send and receive emails just like your primary iCloud email address.
