Delete apple mail app

To delete the Apple Mail app on a Mac, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the Applications folder on your Mac. You can do this by clicking on the Finder icon in the Dock and selecting "Applications" from the sidebar.
  2. Find the Mail app in the Applications folder and drag it to the Trash icon in the Dock.
  3. Alternatively, you can also right-click (or control-click) on the Mail app and select "Move to Trash" from the context menu.
  4. Empty the Trash by clicking on the Trash icon in the Dock and selecting "Empty" from the dropdown menu.

Note: Before deleting the Mail app, make sure you have backed up your email data and settings. You can do this by going to Mail > Preferences > Accounts, selecting the account you want to back up, and clicking on the "Export" button.

To delete the Mail app on an iPhone or iPad, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Home screen and find the Mail app icon.
  2. Tap and hold on the Mail app icon until it starts to jiggle.
  3. Tap the "X" icon in the top-left corner of the app icon to delete it.
  4. Confirm that you want to delete the app by tapping "Delete" in the popup dialog.
