Delete labels in gmail

To delete labels in Gmail, you can follow these steps:

Method 1: Delete a label from the Labels page

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Labels" tab.
  5. Find the label you want to delete and click on the trash can icon () next to it.
  6. Confirm that you want to delete the label by clicking "OK".

Method 2: Delete a label from a label's page

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the label you want to delete.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots () at the top right corner of the page.
  4. Select "Delete label" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the label by clicking "OK".

Method 3: Delete multiple labels at once

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the "Labels" tab.
  5. Check the boxes next to the labels you want to delete.
  6. Click on the "Delete" button at the top of the page.

Note: When you delete a label, all messages that were previously labeled with that label will no longer have that label. However, the messages themselves will not be deleted.
