Delete mail in gmail
Here are the steps to delete an email in Gmail:
Method 1: Delete an email from the Inbox
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the Inbox tab to view your emails.
- Find the email you want to delete and hover your mouse over it.
- Click on the three vertical dots that appear on the right side of the email.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
Method 2: Delete an email from the Trash
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the Trash tab to view your deleted emails.
- Find the email you want to delete permanently and hover your mouse over it.
- Click on the three vertical dots that appear on the right side of the email.
- Select "Empty Trash Forever" from the dropdown menu. This will permanently delete the email and move it to the "All Mail" label.
Method 3: Delete multiple emails at once
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Select the emails you want to delete by checking the boxes next to them.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the selected emails.
Note: When you delete an email in Gmail, it moves to the Trash folder. If you want to permanently delete an email, you need to empty the Trash folder.
