Delete sent mail in gmail
To delete sent mail in Gmail, you can follow these steps:
Method 1: Delete sent mail from the Sent folder
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Inbox" tab.
- Click on the "More" menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Sent" from the dropdown menu.
- Find the email you want to delete and check the box next to it.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete forever" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.
Method 2: Delete sent mail from the search bar
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the search bar at the top of the page.
- Type "in:sent" in the search bar to search for all sent emails.
- Find the email you want to delete and click on the checkbox next to it.
- Click on the "Bulk actions" dropdown menu at the top of the page.
- Select "Delete forever" from the dropdown menu.
- Confirm that you want to delete the email by clicking "OK" in the pop-up window.
Method 3: Delete sent mail using the Gmail app
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- Tap on the "Inbox" tab.
- Tap on the "Sent" tab.
- Find the email you want to delete and swipe left on it.
- Tap on the "Delete" button that appears.
- Confirm that you want to delete the email by tapping "OK" in the pop-up window.
Note: Once you delete an email, it will be permanently removed from your Gmail account and cannot be recovered. Make sure you're deleting the correct email before confirming the deletion.
