Did not receive my t4a by mail

I'm here to help!

If you haven't received your T4A statement by mail, there are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue:

  1. Check with your employer: Contact your employer's payroll department to confirm that they have sent your T4A statement to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and to ensure that it was mailed to the correct address.
  2. Check your CRA My Account: Log in to your CRA My Account to see if your T4A statement is available online. You can also check your account to see if there are any issues with your address or other information.
  3. Contact the CRA: Reach out to the CRA by phone or online to report the issue. You can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281 (individuals) or 1-800-959-8282 (businesses) or use the CRA's online chat service. Provide your name, address, and the reason you haven't received your T4A statement.
  4. Request a replacement T4A: If the CRA confirms that your T4A statement was lost or not sent, you can request a replacement. You can do this by contacting the CRA or by filling out Form T4A, Statement of Pension, Retirement, Annuity, and Other Income, and submitting it to the CRA.
  5. Check your junk mail: Sometimes, important documents like T4A statements can end up in junk mail or spam folders. Check your mailbox and online accounts to ensure that your T4A statement wasn't mistakenly flagged as junk.

Remember to keep a copy of your T4A statement for your records, as you may need it for tax purposes.
