In Gmail, a distribution list, also known as a group or a mailing list, is a way to send an email to multiple recipients at once. Here's how to create and manage distribution lists in Gmail:

Creating a Distribution List:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
  3. In the "To" field, start typing the name of the distribution list you want to create. If the list doesn't exist, Gmail will suggest creating a new one.
  4. Click on the "Create group" button.
  5. Enter a name for the distribution list and add the email addresses of the members you want to include.
  6. Click "Save" to create the distribution list.

Managing a Distribution List:

  1. To add or remove members from a distribution list, go to the "Contacts" page and find the list in the "Groups" section.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots next to the list name and select "Edit group".
  3. Add or remove members by typing their email addresses or selecting them from your contacts list.
  4. Click "Save" to update the list.

Sending an Email to a Distribution List:

  1. Start a new email by clicking on the "Compose" button.
  2. In the "To" field, type the name of the distribution list you want to send the email to.
  3. Gmail will automatically expand the list to include all the members.
  4. Write your email and click "Send" to send it to all the members of the distribution list.
