Do a read receipt in mail app windows

To request a read receipt in the Mail app on Windows, you can follow these steps:

  1. Compose a new email or open an existing one.
  2. Click on the "Options" button (represented by a gear icon) in the top-right corner of the email window.
  3. In the "Options" menu, click on "Tracking" (or "Read Receipt" in older versions of Windows).
  4. Check the box next to "Request a read receipt" (or "Request a delivery and read receipt" in older versions).
  5. You can also choose to request a delivery receipt, which will notify you when the email is delivered to the recipient's mailbox.
  6. Click "OK" to save your changes.

Once you've sent the email, the recipient will receive a notification asking them to confirm whether they've read the email. If they agree, they'll receive a read receipt, which will be sent back to you.

Note that the recipient must have a compatible email client and have agreed to receive read receipts in order for this feature to work. Additionally, some email providers may not support read receipts or may have specific settings that need to be enabled.
