Do mail addresses in cc receive each other
In a CC (Carbon Copy) email, the recipients listed in the CC field do not automatically receive each other's email addresses. Each recipient only receives the original email and the email addresses of the other CC recipients are not shared.
Here's what happens:
- When you send an email with CC recipients, the email is sent to each CC recipient's email address individually.
- Each CC recipient receives the original email and can see the email addresses of the other CC recipients listed in the CC field.
- However, the email addresses of the other CC recipients are not automatically sent to each other. Each CC recipient only receives the original email and does not receive the email addresses of the other CC recipients.
For example, let's say you send an email to John, Jane, and Bob with CC recipients Alex and Mike. Here's what each recipient would receive:
- John receives the original email with Alex and Mike listed in the CC field.
- Jane receives the original email with Alex and Mike listed in the CC field.
- Bob receives the original email with Alex and Mike listed in the CC field.
- Alex receives the original email with John, Jane, and Bob listed in the CC field.
- Mike receives the original email with John, Jane, and Bob listed in the CC field.
As you can see, each CC recipient only receives the original email and does not receive the email addresses of the other CC recipients.
