Do not send email immediately in outlook

In Outlook, you can delay sending an email by setting a delay delivery option. Here's how:

Method 1: Delay Sending from the Send button

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Click the "Send" button.
  3. In the "Send" dialog box, click the "Delay Delivery" button.
  4. Choose the delay period from the dropdown menu (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.).
  5. Click "OK" to send the email with the delay.

Method 2: Delay Sending from the "More Options" tab

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Click the "More Options" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click the "Delay Delivery" button in the "More Options" group.
  4. Choose the delay period from the dropdown menu (e.g., 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.).
  5. Click "OK" to send the email with the delay.

Method 3: Use the "Send Later" feature (Outlook 2013 and later)

  1. Compose your email as usual.
  2. Click the "Send" button.
  3. In the "Send" dialog box, click the "Send Later" button.
  4. Choose the delay period from the calendar.
  5. Click "OK" to send the email with the delay.

Once you've set the delay, Outlook will store the email in your Outbox and send it at the specified time. You can also cancel the delay by going to the "Send" button and clicking "Cancel Delay Delivery".
