Does priority mail express deliver on holidays

According to the United States Postal Service (USPS), Priority Mail Express is the only USPS service that offers overnight delivery, and it does not deliver on the following holidays:

  1. New Year's Day (January 1st)
  2. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (third Monday in January)
  3. Presidents' Day (third Monday in February)
  4. Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
  5. Independence Day (July 4th)
  6. Labor Day (first Monday in September)
  7. Columbus Day (second Monday in October)
  8. Veterans Day (November 11th)
  9. Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November)
  10. Christmas Day (December 25th)

However, Priority Mail Express does deliver on other federal holidays, such as:

  1. Good Friday (variable date, typically in March or April)
  2. Inauguration Day (January 20th, every 4 years)

If you need to send a package on a holiday, you can still use Priority Mail Express, but it will be held until the next business day. For example, if you send a package on Christmas Day, it will be delivered on December 26th.

Keep in mind that some private carriers, like UPS and FedEx, may have different holiday schedules and delivery policies. It's always a good idea to check with your carrier for specific holiday hours and delivery information.
