Doteasy email setup instructions

Here are the email setup instructions for Doteasy:

Step 1: Create a POP3 or IMAP account

  1. Log in to your Doteasy control panel at www.doteasy.com.
  2. Click on the "Email" tab.
  3. Click on "Create a new email account" and follow the prompts to create a new email account.
  4. Choose the type of email account you want to create: POP3 or IMAP.

Step 2: Set up your email client

  1. Open your email client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail).
  2. Click on "File" > "Add Account" (or "Account Settings" > "Add a new email account" in Outlook 2013 and later).
  3. Select "Manual setup or additional server types" and click "Next".
  4. Choose "POP3" or "IMAP" as the account type, depending on the type of account you created in Step 1.
  5. Enter the following settings:
    • Server: mail.doteasy.com
    • Port: 110 (POP3) or 143 (IMAP)
    • Username: your email address (e.g. [yourname]@doteasy.com)
    • Password: your email password
  6. Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the setup process.

Step 3: Configure your email client settings

  1. In your email client, go to the "Accounts" or "Settings" menu.
  2. Click on "Edit" or "Properties" next to your Doteasy email account.
  3. Enter the following settings:
    • Outgoing server: mail.doteasy.com
    • Port: 587 (for POP3) or 465 (for IMAP)
    • Authentication: Password
    • Username: your email address (e.g. [yourname]@doteasy.com)
    • Password: your email password
  4. Click "OK" or "Save" to save the changes.

Step 4: Test your email setup

  1. Send an email to your Doteasy email address from another email account.
  2. Check your Doteasy email account to make sure the email was received successfully.
