Ecu email help
East Carolina University (ECU) email help! Here are some common issues and solutions to get you started:
Logging in:
- Go to ecu.edu and click on "My ECU" at the top right corner.
- Enter your PirateID (username) and password.
- If you're having trouble logging in, try resetting your password or contact the ECU Help Desk.
Email Settings:
- Your ECU email address is usually in the format of [yourname]@ecu.edu.
- You can access your email through the My ECU portal or by using an email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Make sure your email client is set up to use the correct server settings:
- Server: outlook.office365.com
- Port: 587 (for sending) or 993 (for receiving)
- Encryption: TLS or SSL
Common Issues:
- Email not syncing: Try restarting your email client or checking your internet connection.
- Email not receiving: Check your spam folder or contact the ECU Help Desk if you're not receiving emails.
- Email not sending: Check your email client settings or contact the ECU Help Desk if you're having trouble sending emails.
