Email iphone video too large

The frustration of trying to send a video from your iPhone, only to find out it's too large to send via email!

Don't worry, I've got some solutions for you:

Method 1: Compress the video

You can use the built-in Photos app on your iPhone to compress the video. Here's how:

  1. Open the Photos app and select the video you want to send.
  2. Tap the "Share" icon (a box with an arrow coming out of it).
  3. Tap "Export" and then "Export Video".
  4. Choose a compression setting (e.g., "Medium" or "Low") to reduce the file size.
  5. Tap "Export" again to save the compressed video.

Method 2: Use a third-party video compression app

There are many third-party apps available that can compress your iPhone videos. Here are a few popular ones:

  1. Video Compressor (free): This app allows you to compress videos in various formats, including MP4, AVI, and MOV.
  2. Clipchamp (free): This app offers a range of compression settings and can also trim and merge videos.
  3. Video Converter (paid): This app can convert videos to various formats, including MP4, AVI, and MOV, and also offers compression options.

Method 3: Use iCloud or Google Drive to share the video

If you don't need to send the video via email, you can upload it to iCloud or Google Drive and share the link with the recipient. This way, you won't have to worry about file size limitations.

Method 4: Break the video into smaller chunks

If the video is extremely large, you can try breaking it into smaller chunks using a video editing app like iMovie or Adobe Premiere Rush. This way, you can send multiple smaller videos instead of one large one.

Remember to always check the recipient's email provider's file size limits before sending a video. Some providers may have stricter limits than others.
