Embarqmail spam settings

Embarqmail is a email service provided by CenturyLink, a telecommunications company. To manage spam settings in Embarqmail, you can follow these steps:

Webmail:

  1. Log in to your Embarqmail account using your email address and password.
  2. Click on the "Settings" icon (represented by a gear or cog) located at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on "Spam Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  4. In the "Spam Settings" page, you can adjust the following settings:
    • Spam Filter Level: Choose from three options: Low, Medium, or High. A higher level will block more emails, but may also block legitimate emails.
    • Spam Filter: You can choose to enable or disable the spam filter.
    • Spam Folder: You can choose to move spam emails to the "Spam" folder or delete them.
  5. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

Mobile App:

  1. Open the Embarqmail mobile app on your device.
  2. Tap on the "Menu" icon (represented by three horizontal lines) located at the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Tap on "Settings" from the menu.
  4. Scroll down to the "Spam" section.
  5. Tap on "Spam Filter Level" and choose from the three options: Low, Medium, or High.
  6. Tap on "Spam Filter" to enable or disable the spam filter.
  7. Tap on "Spam Folder" to choose where spam emails are moved.

Additional Tips:

Remember to always be cautious when opening emails from unknown senders, and never respond to or click on links in suspicious emails.
