Emory email archive outlook

Emory University's email archive is a service provided by the university to store and preserve emails for a certain period of time. Here's how to access your Emory email archive using Outlook:

Accessing the Email Archive

  1. Log in to your Emory Outlook account.
  2. Click on the "Folders" tab in the navigation pane.
  3. Click on the "Archives" folder.
  4. You will see a list of archived emails, organized by date.

Searching the Email Archive

  1. To search for a specific email, click on the "Search" button in the top-right corner of the Outlook window.
  2. In the search bar, type in keywords or phrases related to the email you're looking for.
  3. Click on the "Search" button to run the search.
  4. The search results will display a list of emails that match your search criteria.

Restoring an Email from the Archive

  1. Find the email you want to restore in the Archives folder.
  2. Right-click on the email and select "Restore" from the context menu.
  3. The email will be restored to your Inbox.

Note: The email archive is only available for a certain period of time, typically 7-10 years. Emails older than this period may not be available in the archive.
