Emory email archive outlook
Emory University's email archive is a service provided by the university to store and preserve emails for a certain period of time. Here's how to access your Emory email archive using Outlook:
Accessing the Email Archive
- Log in to your Emory Outlook account.
- Click on the "Folders" tab in the navigation pane.
- Click on the "Archives" folder.
- You will see a list of archived emails, organized by date.
Searching the Email Archive
- To search for a specific email, click on the "Search" button in the top-right corner of the Outlook window.
- In the search bar, type in keywords or phrases related to the email you're looking for.
- Click on the "Search" button to run the search.
- The search results will display a list of emails that match your search criteria.
Restoring an Email from the Archive
- Find the email you want to restore in the Archives folder.
- Right-click on the email and select "Restore" from the context menu.
- The email will be restored to your Inbox.
Note: The email archive is only available for a certain period of time, typically 7-10 years. Emails older than this period may not be available in the archive.
Additional Tips:
- The email archive is a read-only repository, so you cannot edit or delete emails in the archive.
- The archive is not searchable by sender or recipient, only by keywords or phrases.
