Enable facebook email address
To enable a Facebook email address, also known as a Facebook username, you'll need to follow these steps:
Note: This feature is only available for personal Facebook profiles, not for Facebook Pages or Facebook Groups.
Step 1: Check if your Facebook profile has a Facebook email address
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Account Settings" section.
- Look for the "Contact and Basic Info" section.
- Check if you have a Facebook email address listed under "Contact Information".
Step 2: Enable your Facebook email address
If you don't have a Facebook email address, you can create one by following these steps:
- Go to your Facebook profile settings (as described in Step 1).
- Click on "Add Facebook Email" under the "Contact Information" section.
- Enter a username (this will be your Facebook email address).
- Enter a password for your Facebook email address.
- Confirm your password.
- Click "Save Changes".
Step 3: Verify your Facebook email address
After enabling your Facebook email address, you'll need to verify it. You'll receive an email from Facebook with a verification link. Click on the link to verify your email address.
Step 4: Use your Facebook email address
Once your Facebook email address is verified, you can use it to send and receive emails. You can also use it to log in to other Facebook features, such as Facebook Messenger.
Tips:
- Your Facebook email address will be in the format of [username]@facebook.com.
- You can use your Facebook email address to send and receive emails, but keep in mind that it's not a traditional email service like Gmail or Outlook.
- You can also use your Facebook email address to log in to other Facebook features, such as Facebook Messenger.
- If you want to change your Facebook email address, you can do so by going to your Facebook profile settings and clicking on "Edit" next to "Contact Information".
