Evolution email configuration at&t

To set up email configuration for Evolution on AT&T, you'll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Enable IMAP on your AT&T account

  1. Log in to your AT&T account online.
  2. Click on the "Account" tab.
  3. Scroll down to the "Email" section.
  4. Click on "Edit" next to "Email settings".
  5. Under "Email settings", toggle the switch next to "IMAP" to the "On" position.

Step 2: Configure Evolution

  1. Open Evolution on your Linux machine.
  2. Click on "File" > "New" > "Mail Account" to create a new email account.
  3. Enter your name and email address in the respective fields.
  4. Select "IMAP" as the account type.
  5. Enter the following settings:
    • Server: imap.mail.att.net
    • Port: 993
    • Username: Your AT&T email address
    • Password: Your AT&T email password
    • Authentication: Normal password
