Exchange online junk mail settings

The never-ending battle against online junk mail!

Here are some steps to help you manage your online junk mail settings:

Gmail (Google)

  1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "See all settings."
  4. Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
  5. Click on "Create a new filter."
  6. Enter the email address or keywords you want to block.
  7. Select "Apply the label" and choose "Spam."
  8. Click "Create filter."

Outlook.com (Microsoft)

  1. Sign in to your Outlook.com account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "View all Outlook settings."
  4. Go to the "Mail" tab.
  5. Scroll down to the "Junk email" section.
  6. Click on "Safe senders" and add the email addresses or domains you want to allow.
  7. Click on "Blocked senders" and add the email addresses or domains you want to block.
  8. Click "Save changes."

Yahoo Mail

  1. Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "More settings."
  4. Go to the "Filters" tab.
  5. Click on "Add filter."
  6. Enter the email address or keywords you want to block.
  7. Select "Move to spam" and click "Save."

ProtonMail

  1. Sign in to your ProtonMail account.
  2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select "Settings."
  4. Go to the "Filters" tab.
  5. Click on "New filter."
  6. Enter the email address or keywords you want to block.
  7. Select "Move to spam" and click "Save."

Other email providers

If you're using a different email provider, such as AOL, Comcast, or Verizon, you can usually find the junk mail settings by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your email account.
  2. Click on the gear icon or settings icon.
  3. Select "Settings" or "Options."
  4. Look for the "Junk email" or "Spam" section.
  5. Follow the instructions to add email addresses or domains to your block list or safe senders list.

Remember to regularly check your junk mail folder to ensure that legitimate emails aren't being mistakenly flagged as spam.
