Here is a chart of the current first-class mail rates in the United States, effective as of January 2022:

Letters

• 1 oz (1 ounce) letter: $0.55
• 2 oz (2 ounce) letter: $0.75
• 3 oz (3 ounce) letter: $1.00
• 3.5 oz (3.5 ounce) letter: $1.15

Large Envelopes (Flats)

• 1 oz (1 ounce) flat: $0.95
• 2 oz (2 ounce) flat: $1.15
• 3 oz (3 ounce) flat: $1.30
• 3.5 oz (3.5 ounce) flat: $1.45

Postcards

• Standard postcard: $0.34

International Mail

• 1 oz (1 ounce) letter to Canada: $1.20
• 1 oz (1 ounce) letter to Mexico: $1.30
• 1 oz (1 ounce) letter to other countries: $1.40

Additional Services

• Certified Mail: $3.50 (plus postage)
• Return Receipt: $1.45 (plus postage)
• Priority Mail Express: $25.50 (plus postage)

Weight-Based Pricing

• For letters and flats weighing more than 3.5 oz, add $0.15 for each additional ounce.
