Flagging emails in hotmail

Flagging emails in Hotmail (now Outlook.com) allows you to mark important emails so you can easily find them later. Here's how to flag an email in Hotmail:

Method 1: Flagging an email from the inbox

  1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
  2. Open your inbox and find the email you want to flag.
  3. Click on the email to open it.
  4. Click on the three dots (⋯) at the top right corner of the email.
  5. Select "Flag" from the dropdown menu.

Method 2: Flagging an email from the email composition window

  1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
  2. Compose a new email or reply to an existing one.
  3. Click on the "Flag" button located in the top right corner of the email composition window.

Method 3: Flagging multiple emails at once

  1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
  2. Select multiple emails by checking the boxes next to them.
  3. Click on the "More" button at the top of the inbox.
  4. Select "Flag" from the dropdown menu.

Once you've flagged an email, it will be marked with a flag icon () and will be moved to the "Flagged" folder in your inbox. You can also use the "Flag" button to unflag an email.

Note: If you're using the Outlook.com interface, the flagging process is similar, but you'll find the flag icon () in the top right corner of the email instead of the three dots (⋯).
