- Click the three vertical dots at the top right corner of the email.
- Select "Forward as attachment" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter the recipient's email address and any additional message you want to include.
- Click "Forward" to send the email as an attachment.
Method 2: Using the "Forward" feature in Outlook

- Open the email you want to forward.
- Click the "Forward" button in the top toolbar.
- In the "Forward" window, select "Attach a copy of the message" from the dropdown menu.
- Choose the format you want to use (e.g., HTML, Plain Text, or Rich Text).
- Enter the recipient's email address and any additional message you want to include.
- Click "Send" to send the email as an attachment.
Method 3: Using a third-party add-on or plugin
There are several third-party add-ons and plugins available that can help you forward emails as attachments. For example:
- In Gmail, you can use the "Forward as Attachment" add-on from the Chrome Web Store.
- In Outlook, you can use the "Forward Email as Attachment" add-on from the Microsoft Store.
Method 4: Using a workaround
If your email client doesn't have a built-in "Forward as Attachment" feature, you can try using a workaround:
- Open the email you want to forward.
- Select all the text in the email (Ctrl+A on Windows or Command+A on Mac).
- Copy the selected text (Ctrl+C on Windows or Command+C on Mac).
- Open a new email and paste the copied text into the body of the email.
- Attach the original email as a file (e.g., by dragging and dropping it into the attachment field or using the "Attach file" button).
- Send the email as usual.
I hope these methods help you forward your email as an attachment!
