Method 1: Forwarding emails using Outlook.com
- Log in to your Outlook.com account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "View all Outlook settings."
- Scroll down to the "Mail" section and click on "Forwarding."
- Toggle the switch next to "Forward my email to another account" to the "On" position.
- Enter your Gmail address in the "Forward my email to" field.
- Choose the forwarding option: "Keep a copy of forwarded messages in my Outlook.com mailbox" or "Delete forwarded messages from my Outlook.com mailbox."
- Click "Save" to save your changes.
Method 2: Forwarding emails using Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon () in the top right corner and select "See all settings."
- Scroll down to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
- Click on "Add a forwarding address."
- Enter your Outlook.com email address in the "Forwarding address" field.
- Click "Next" and then "Add."
- You'll receive a verification email from Gmail. Click on the verification link to confirm the forwarding address.
Important notes:
- When you forward emails from Outlook.com to Gmail, the emails will be delivered to your Gmail inbox, but they may not retain their original formatting or attachments.
- If you have a large number of emails in your Outlook.com account, it may take some time for them to be forwarded to your Gmail account.
