Forwarding gmail mail
You want to forward emails from your Gmail account to another email address. Here's how:
Method 1: Forwarding emails using Gmail settings
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
- Go to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
- Click on the "Add a forwarding address" button.
- Enter the email address you want to forward your emails to.
- Click on the "Next" button.
- Confirm that you want to add the forwarding address.
- Click on the "Save Changes" button.
Method 2: Forwarding emails using Gmail filters
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "See all settings."
- Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
- Click on the "Create a new filter" button.
- Enter the criteria for the filter (e.g., "from: [sender's email address]").
- Click on the "Create filter" button.
- Select "Forward to" and enter the email address you want to forward your emails to.
- Click on the "Create" button.
Tips:
- You can forward emails from specific senders, subjects, or labels using Gmail filters.
- You can also forward emails from a specific folder or label using Gmail filters.
- If you want to forward all emails from your Gmail account, you can use the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab in Gmail settings.
- Make sure to check the "Allow less secure apps" option in your Google Account settings if you're using a third-party email client or app to access your Gmail account.
