Frontiernet.net mail server settings
Frontier Communications provides email services through its Frontier Internet plans. To set up your email account on a mail client or mobile device, you'll need to configure the mail server settings. Here are the Frontier Communications mail server settings:
Incoming Mail Server (POP3):

- Port: 110
- Username: Your full email address (e.g., [yourname]@frontiernet.net)
- Password: Your email account password
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
- Server: smtp.frontier.com
- Port: 587

Additional Settings:
- Authentication: Use the same username and password for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
- SSL/TLS: Enable SSL/TLS encryption for both incoming and outgoing mail servers.
IMAP Settings:
If you prefer to use IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) instead of POP3, you can use the following settings:
- Server: imap.frontier.com
- Port: 993
- Username: Your full email address (e.g., [yourname]@frontiernet.net)
- Password: Your email account password
- SSL/TLS: Enable SSL/TLS encryption.
Mobile Device Settings:
For mobile devices, you may need to configure the email settings slightly differently. Here are some general guidelines:
- For Android devices: Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Email > Frontier Communications. Enter your email address, password, and other required information.
- For iOS devices: Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add account > Other > Add Mail Account. Enter your email address, password, and other required information.
Remember to replace [yourname] with your actual email address and password with your actual email account password. If you're having trouble setting up your email account, you can contact Frontier Communications' customer support for assistance.
