Fuziah ismail

Fuziah Ismail is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kuantan since 2018. She is a member of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and has been involved in various social and political activities throughout her career.

Fuziah Ismail was born on October 24, 1964, in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Malaya and later earned her Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Queensland, Australia.

Before entering politics, Fuziah worked as a lecturer at the Universiti Malaysia Pahang and was involved in various community-based organizations, focusing on issues such as women's empowerment, education, and environmental conservation.

In the 2018 general election, Fuziah contested the Kuantan parliamentary seat as a candidate for the PH coalition and won with a majority of 12,614 votes. She has since been re-elected in the 2022 general election.

As an MP, Fuziah has been vocal on issues such as environmental protection, education, and women's rights. She has also been involved in various initiatives to promote sustainable development and community empowerment in her constituency.

Fuziah is married to Dr. Mohd Fauzi Ismail and has two children. She is known for her strong advocacy on social and environmental issues and has been recognized for her contributions to Malaysian politics and society.
