Globe and mail subscription hold

The Globe and Mail's subscription hold feature allows you to temporarily pause your subscription while still maintaining access to your existing subscription benefits. Here's how it works:

Why would you want to hold your subscription?

You might want to hold your subscription for various reasons, such as:

  1. Going on vacation or a business trip and won't have access to the internet.
  2. Taking a break from reading the news or want to focus on other activities.
  3. Need to adjust your budget and want to temporarily suspend your subscription.

How to hold your subscription:

To hold your subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Globe and Mail account online or through the Globe and Mail app.
  2. Click on the "Account" or "My Account" tab.
  3. Scroll down to the "Subscription" section.
  4. Click on "Hold Subscription" or "Pause Subscription".
  5. Choose the date you want to start holding your subscription and the number of days you want to hold it for (up to 30 days).
  6. Confirm your selection by clicking "Hold Subscription".

What happens while your subscription is on hold:

  1. Your subscription will be paused, and you won't receive new issues or access to online content.
  2. You'll still have access to the Globe and Mail website and app, but you won't be able to access premium content or receive new issues.
  3. Your subscription will remain active, and you won't lose any of your subscription benefits.
  4. You can resume your subscription at any time by logging in to your account and clicking "Resume Subscription".

Important notes:

  1. You can only hold your subscription for a maximum of 30 days at a time.
  2. If you hold your subscription for more than 30 days, you'll need to contact Globe and Mail customer service to reactivate your subscription.
  3. Holding your subscription won't affect your subscription rate or any promotional offers you may have.

By holding your subscription, you can take a break from the Globe and Mail without losing your subscription benefits or having to cancel your subscription altogether.
