Gmail calendar sharing settings
In Gmail, you can share your calendar with others by following these steps:
Method 1: Share a specific calendar event
- Open your Gmail calendar.
- Click on the event you want to share.
- Click on the "Share" button.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to share the event with.
- Choose the permission level:
- "Make changes" allows the recipient to edit the event.
- "See only" allows the recipient to view the event, but not make changes.
- Click "Send" to send the sharing invitation.
Method 2: Share your entire calendar
- Open your Gmail calendar.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down to the "Calendar" section.
- Click on "Settings" next to "Calendar sharing".
- Enter the email address of the person you want to share your calendar with.
- Choose the permission level:

- Click "Save" to save the sharing settings.

When sharing your calendar, you can choose from the following permission levels:
- Make changes: The recipient can edit your calendar, including creating, editing, and deleting events.
- See only: The recipient can view your calendar, but not make changes. They can see all events, but cannot edit or delete them.
Tips and considerations
- When sharing your calendar, make sure to only share with people you trust, as they will have access to your schedule and may be able to make changes.
- You can revoke sharing permissions at any time by going to your calendar settings and clicking "Revoke access" next to the shared calendar.
- If you share your calendar with someone, they will receive an email invitation to accept the sharing request. They must accept the invitation to gain access to your calendar.
- You can also share your calendar with a group of people by entering multiple email addresses separated by commas.
