Gmail contacts app for iphone
There are a few ways to access your Gmail contacts on your iPhone:
- Native iPhone Contacts App: You can sync your Gmail contacts with the native iPhone Contacts app. To do this:
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Contacts
- Turn on "Contacts" to sync your contacts with iCloud
- Make sure you have 2-factor authentication (2FA) enabled for your Google account
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Account > Sign in with Apple ID
- Enter your Apple ID and password, then select "Next"
- Select "Merge" to merge your iCloud contacts with your Google contacts
- Gmail App: You can also access your Gmail contacts directly from the Gmail app on your iPhone:
- Open the Gmail app
- Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top left corner
- Tap "Contacts"
- You can then view, edit, and manage your contacts directly from the app
- Google Contacts App: Another option is to download the Google Contacts app from the App Store:
- Search for "Google Contacts" in the App Store
- Download and install the app
- Sign in with your Google account to access your contacts
- You can then view, edit, and manage your contacts directly from the app
Note: If you have a large number of contacts, it may take some time for them to sync across all your devices.
