You can add multiple email addresses to a group in Gmail, which allows you to send a single email to multiple recipients. Here's how:
Method 1: Create a new group
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
- In the "To" field, type the name of the group you want to create (e.g., "Team Leads").
- Press the "Enter" key to create a new group.
- Add the email addresses you want to include in the group, separated by commas (e.g., "[email protected], [email protected], [email protected]").
- Click the "Create group" button.
Method 2: Add to an existing group
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click on the "Compose" button to start a new email.
- In the "To" field, type the name of an existing group (e.g., "Team Leads").
- Press the "Enter" key to select the group from the dropdown list.
- Add more email addresses to the group by separating them with commas (e.g., "[email protected], [email protected], [email protected]").
- Click the "Send" button.
Tips:
- You can add up to 100 email addresses to a group.
- When you add a new email address to a group, it will be added to the group's contact list.
- You can also add email addresses from your contacts list to a group by selecting them from the "To" field dropdown list.
- To remove an email address from a group, simply delete it from the "To" field.
- You can also use Gmail's "Cc" field to send a copy of an email to multiple recipients, but this will not create a group.
