Gmail ios no threading

The frustration of not having threading in Gmail on iOS!

Unfortunately, Gmail's threading feature is not available on the iOS app by default. However, there are a few workarounds to help you achieve a similar experience:

  1. Use the Gmail web app: You can access the Gmail web app on your iOS device's Safari browser. This will allow you to use the threading feature, but you'll need to switch between the app and the browser frequently.
  2. Enable "Conversation view" in the Gmail web app: On the Gmail web app, go to Settings (gear icon) > General > Conversation view. Enable "Conversation view" to group related emails together. This will give you a similar experience to threading.
  3. Use a third-party email client: There are several third-party email clients available for iOS that support threading, such as:
    • Spark Mail: A popular email client that offers threading, as well as other features like snoozing and customizable swipe gestures.
    • Microsoft Outlook: While not as feature-rich as Spark, Outlook does offer threading and other organizational tools.
    • Airmail: A feature-rich email client that includes threading, as well as customizable swipe gestures and other features.
  4. Use a browser extension: If you prefer to use the Gmail app, you can try using a browser extension like "Gmail Thread" or "Threaded Gmail" to enable threading. These extensions work by modifying the Gmail web app's interface to display threads.

Keep in mind that these workarounds may not provide the exact same experience as native threading in the Gmail app. However, they can help you achieve a similar level of organization and convenience.
