Gmail mass mail

The art of sending mass emails!

Gmail has a built-in feature called "Canned Responses" (formerly known as "Templates") that allows you to create and send pre-written emails to multiple recipients. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use it:

Create a Canned Response:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account and compose a new email.
  2. Write the email you want to send to multiple recipients. You can use placeholders like {{name}} for the recipient's name, {{email}} for their email address, etc.
  3. Click on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the compose window and select "Canned responses" > "New canned response".
  4. Give your response a name and click "Save".

Send a Mass Email:

  1. Log in to your Gmail account and go to the "Compose" window.
  2. Click on the "Canned responses" dropdown menu and select the response you created earlier.
  3. Enter the email addresses of the recipients in the "To" field, separated by commas.
  4. Click "Send".
