Tips and Considerations
- POP3 is a one-way protocol, which means that emails will be downloaded from Gmail to Outlook, but not synced back to Gmail. If you want to keep your emails synced across both accounts, consider using IMAP instead.
- If you're using two-factor authentication (2FA) with your Gmail account, you may need to generate an App Password to use with Outlook.
- POP3 may not work if you're using Gmail's two-step verification (2SV) feature. You may need to disable 2SV or use an alternative method to access your Gmail account.
By following these steps, you should be able to set up Gmail to work with Outlook using POP3.
