Gmail pop3 setting
Here are the Gmail POP3 settings:
POP3 Server: pop.gmail.com
Port: 995
Username: Your full Gmail address (e.g., [your_email_address]@gmail.com)
Password: Your Gmail password
Encryption: SSL/TLS
Authentication: Password
Leave a copy on the server: You can choose to leave a copy of the emails on the server or delete them after downloading. If you choose to leave a copy, you can set the number of days to keep the emails on the server.
POP3 settings for other email clients:
- Outlook: pop.gmail.com, 995, SSL/TLS, your_email_address, your_password
- Thunderbird: pop.gmail.com, 995, SSL/TLS, your_email_address, your_password
- Apple Mail: pop.gmail.com, 995, SSL/TLS, your_email_address, your_password
- Windows Live Mail: pop.gmail.com, 995, SSL/TLS, your_email_address, your_password
Note: To enable POP3 access in your Gmail account, go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Enable POP for all mail (even mail that's been accessed with POP3).
Also, note: If you're using 2-Step Verification, you'll need to generate an App Password to use with your POP3 client. You can do this by going to the Google Account settings page, clicking on Security, and then clicking on App passwords.
