Gmail scheduled mail

The convenience of scheduling emails in Gmail!

Gmail allows you to schedule emails to be sent at a later time, which can be useful for various purposes such as:

  1. Sending reminders or notifications at a specific time.
  2. Scheduling follow-up emails to clients or colleagues.
  3. Sending birthday greetings or other time-sensitive messages.
  4. Creating a buffer between sending an email and when it's actually read.

Here's how to schedule an email in Gmail:

Method 1: Using the Gmail compose window

  1. Compose a new email as you normally would.
  2. Click on the three vertical dots at the bottom of the compose window.
  3. Select "Schedule send" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  5. Click "Schedule" to confirm.

Method 2: Using the Gmail add-on "Boomerang"

  1. Install the Boomerang add-on from the Chrome Web Store (if you haven't already).
  2. Compose a new email as you normally would.
  3. Click on the Boomerang icon in the compose window.
  4. Select "Schedule Send" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Choose the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  6. Click "Schedule" to confirm.

Method 3: Using the Gmail add-on "Sanebox"

  1. Install the Sanebox add-on from the Chrome Web Store (if you haven't already).
  2. Compose a new email as you normally would.
  3. Click on the Sanebox icon in the compose window.
  4. Select "Schedule Send" from the dropdown menu.
  5. Choose the date and time you want the email to be sent.
  6. Click "Schedule" to confirm.

Once you've scheduled an email, you'll receive a confirmation message in your Gmail inbox. The email will be sent at the scheduled time, and you'll receive a notification in your inbox.

Note that scheduled emails will be sent in the recipient's time zone, not your own. Also, if you change your Gmail account settings or delete the email, the scheduled send will be cancelled.
