Assumptions:

Formula:

=COUNTIF(A:A, "*@gmail.com")

How it works:

• A:A refers to the entire column A (assuming your Gmail addresses are in column A)
• * is a wildcard character that matches any characters before the @ symbol
• @gmail.com is the domain we're looking for (Gmail addresses end with @gmail.com)
• COUNTIF counts the number of cells in the specified range (A:A) that match the pattern *@gmail.com

Tips:

• If you want to count only exact matches (e.g., [email protected] but not [email protected]), use =COUNTIF(A:A, "[email protected]")
• If you want to count Gmail addresses in a specific range (e.g., only in cells A1:A10), use =COUNTIF(A1:A10, "*@gmail.com")
• You can also use this formula to count Gmail addresses in a specific column or range, as long as the column contains the Gmail addresses.
