Gmail verification phone number

To verify your phone number with Gmail, you'll need to follow these steps:

Method 1: Verify your phone number using a text message (SMS)

1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
5. Click on "Change" next to "Phone number".
6. Enter your phone number and click "Next".
7. You'll receive a verification code via SMS on your phone.
8. Enter the verification code and click "Verify".

Method 2: Verify your phone number using a voice call

1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
5. Click on "Change" next to "Phone number".
6. Enter your phone number and click "Next".
7. You'll receive a call from Google with a verification code.
8. Enter the verification code and click "Verify".

Method 3: Verify your phone number using a Google Voice number

1. Sign in to your Gmail account.
2. Click on the gear icon () in the upper right corner of the page.
3. Select "See all settings" from the dropdown menu.
4. Scroll down to the "Accounts and Import" tab.
5. Click on "Change" next to "Phone number".
6. Enter your Google Voice number and click "Next".
7. You'll receive a verification code via SMS on your Google Voice number.
8. Enter the verification code and click "Verify".

Once you've verified your phone number, you'll be able to use it to:

• Receive verification codes for two-factor authentication
• Enable Google's "Smart Reply" feature
• Receive notifications and updates from Google
• Use Google's "Phone" feature to make and receive calls from your Gmail account

Note: You can only verify one phone number per Gmail account. If you've already verified a phone number, you won't be able to verify another one.
